Klaus has served as Lilium’s Chief Executive Officer and an Executive Director on our board since October 2022. He joined Lilium following a 30-year career at Airbus, where he spent the last decade leading the A320 Family and A320neo programs to become the most successful large commercial aircraft of all time. His first roles at Airbus from 1992 to 2000 focused on composites production and A320 Family engineering. From 2003 to 2008, he worked in the A320 Family Program in various management positions. He was also Senior Vice President Cabin & Cargo, responsible for the Interiors of all Airbus aircraft, ranging from A318 to A380, from 2008 to 2010. Before joining Airbus, Klaus spent eight years as an officer in the German Federal Armed Forces and completed academic studies in mechanical engineering.
Johan brings more than 25 years of experience as a CFO of global public and private companies across a variety of sectors and geographies. Most recently, Johan served as CFO at a premium electric vehicle manufacturer, Polestar, where he led the company’s financial organization, including finance, tax, treasury and investor relations. He also played a pivotal role in successfully navigating Polestar through its U.S. public listing and spearheading the company’s capital formation activities. Prior to Polestar, Johan served over seven years as CFO at Dole Food Company, a global distributor and marketer of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Yves drives the industrialization of the Lilium Jet, overseeing manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, quality, and IT functions across Lilium and its supplier network. He leads preparations for large-scale production to support high-volume aircraft deliveries and actively fosters strategic relationships with selected industry partners.
Mr. Wiegand is Lilium’s co-founder, has served as an Executive Director of our board since September 2021, our Chief Executive Officer until October 2022, and previously served as a member of the Lilium GmbH’s board. Daniel holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Technische Universität München.
Since Klaus Roewe joined Lilium as Chief Executive Officer, Daniel continues as Lilium’s Chief Engineer for Innovation and Future Programs and an Executive Director on our board.
